Black Design Visionaries
In partnership with the Brooklyn Museum, Instagram’s @design launched #BlackDesignVisionaries, a grant and mentorship program supporting emerging Black designers and Black-led design businesses across the U.S. I helped develop the campaign’s visual identity, using the capital “B” as a bold, symbolic anchor inspired by the intentional capitalization of “Black” as an identity. This letterform became a framing device for featured talent and storytelling, creating a unified system that visually reinforced the program’s mission: to recognize, invest in, and celebrate Black designers as a powerful creative force.
