Inspired by the bravery and resilience of the children being treated at St. Jude, the St. Jude Hall of Heroes experience imagines patients as larger than life superheroes. Viewers hear directly from patients and their families, celebrating their stories and spreading awareness of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
To celebrate Giving Tuesday, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has partnered with BBDO, Facebook Creative Shop and Flight School to launch a unique VR experience in honor of St. Jude and the families they support. The Idea was chosen following a competition at the 2019 Cannes Lions Festival. It was later nominated for the 2020 Webby's Award in Augmented Reality.
